NY: Double silver at SPD awards
Oh boy oh boy – the first issue of Katachi was awarded two medals in the magazine design award in New York; SPD awards. The 47th event in the award’s history kicked off at Cipriani with publishing oracles and hipsters alike sipping cocktails and talking conspiracies. Getting Silver for Original Cover of the Year and Tablet App of the Year is a fantastic achievement for at the time only having published one issue and with titles like Wired, Time, and Martha Stuart Living all finishing behind us in the pecking order. Next year we’ll be bringing home the gold. Here’s the list of winners. Chest out, stomach in; managing editor Max being all proud in B/W on the night.
This is an archive of Katachi Magazine, the Oslo-based iPad magazine about design, people and business published by Katachi Media from 2010 to 2015. The features and blog posts are kept at their original addresses for readers of the sites that linked to them. The domain now has a new owner who is not the original publisher.
